in sweden you dont say “i love you”, you say “ska vi rida isbjörn in i solnedgången”. i think thats really beautiful.
what the hell is wrong with you guys
Hahahaha yeah, that’s exactly what we say!
I am basically finished with my graduation project now - wohow! I still need to print the photos and work on the presentation a bit more, and obviously install them to the gallery when the time comes. But the hardest part is now done, and I feel very happy with it :)
You can have a sneaky preview on my website http://sabinahannila.com/portfolio/small-actions-big-consequences/ to see roughly what the presentation will look like (I will update with photos from the exhibitions as well).
I have entered the project into two competitions, and I’m hoping to win! Haha, a long-shot obviously since there are thousands of other people out there with some amazing projects going around, but one has to try to actually gain something! That’s the least I can do :)
So I decided to enter this year’s Exposure-competition with my latest seashell-project, in hope of winning an exhibition in NYC. You can see my entry by clicking the link, and if you like it feel free to click ‘like’ and share it with your friends :)
HULK LACI SMASH RAPE CULTURE
I feel physically sick every time I think about it.
yes yes yes!!!!!!!!
i’m a seashell. small and fragile, easily swept away by the sea, into waves of cold and strong water.
years later, someone walks along the shoreline. they see a piece of something shiny sticking out from the sand. with a gentle hand she picks it up and says with excitement: “look! it’s a piece of a broken seashell! it’s beautiful…”
